This one of a kind, custom Scottsdale luxury home is being offered for the first time since its head-to-toe remodel and stands as a valley showcase for Tuscan Modern fusion while also serving as an example of Southwest living at its finest. This home was commissioned and started as a remodel in 2005 and completed with finishing touches in 2008 by the owners of one of the state’s top design firms. The attention to design detail and quality is very special. It was designed by two of the best in the southwest: David Dick Architecture and Judy Fox Interiors. The owners then completed it with an eye for exacting design and build standards.

The design specification: “We want to live within five minutes of Scottsdale Airpark, be in the best school district in North Scottsdale and build a custom home that is ideal for exclusive entertaining, raising a high performance academic/athletic family, and serving as leaders in the community. We also want this home to provide a respite from the dry, hot desert and the stresses of everyday life as business owners.”

At the time, the owners looked for three years to find a property to buy in Scottsdale (without driving for 30 minutes through the traffic, desert and dirt further north) that could fulfill the desires for the perfect home. After looking every day, the owners could not find the perfect home. There was always a quality or space compromise. So, they bought a huge corner lot with the space required and a 30-year-old home on it. They brought it down to a few studs remaining and hired the best in the southwest to start with a blank piece of paper and “rebuild” a dream home.

The owners are now ready to move on: “Our last teenager is graduating this year, and now it’s time to find another family that can enjoy and take advantage of the special serenity and power of this home for your family.”
